The Anchor is designed to be a place you can enter without expectation. Some days are quiet. Some are full of conversation and laughter. You might come to read, sip coffee, sit with a friend, or simply take a breath between responsibilities.
Whether you stay for a few minutes or linger awhile, this space is meant to meet you where you are and make room for what you need.
Outside of our day-to-day rhythm, the space hosts simple community gatherings like game nights, small groups, and events that bring people of all ages together. It is also available for small meetings and celebrations.
Our story
In the winter of 2023, a small group began dreaming about creating a space where people of all ages could gather, build meaningful relationships, and experience genuine community in the heart of our town.
When a former downtown business became available, a devoted couple felt called to step forward. What followed was months of prayer, renovation, and countless helping hands. Local businesses, tradespeople, and volunteers came together to transform the space into what it is today.
What emerged was not just a building, but a shared effort rooted in unity, generosity, and care for the community.
